Researchers found those with type 2 diabetes who reported frequent sleep disruptions, were 87% more likely to die of any cause than those without diabetes or sleep disturbances. Additionally, those with diabetes and sleep disruptions were 12% more die over a nine-year period than those with diabetes alone.
